The story is based on real events, a journey of a popular Moscow actor to shoot a film in Yakutia. Through his eyes, we see the mysterious worlds of "Olonkho" culture in the Sakha republic and of the contemporary Yakut film tradition, with all its national uniqueness. In this island of creativity very different people unite to create rather than destroy.

An ordinary quarrel between teenagers spills over into a parent chat and leads to a serious conflict. In a neighboring house, a young guy borrows a lot of money from a businessman to play on the difference in exchange rates, but on this particular day the dollar exchange rate goes crazy. And the crazy old man, meanwhile, goes to another city to meet with the killer of his son, so that he will answer for everything. All of them are faced with the question of choosing and making difficult decisions on which their lives depend.

After making several unsuccessful attempts to earn money and spending the last money on entertainment, the heroes begin to engage in petty crime, not realizing what this can lead to.

23-year-old student Alyona returns from Moscow to Yakutsk after a call from her mother's friend Svetlana, who says that her mother Anna has been missing for three days now. The girl goes to the police, and she is shown a printout, which contains the last date when Anna called the intercity taxi. The policeman adds that, according to the taxi driver, he took the described woman to a village called Symyr. Alyona immediately decides to go to Symyr and asks her stepfather to take her.

In the distant Alaas near the forest, a lonely old man lives happily in a booth and is engaged in moonshine brewing. A teenage grandson comes to him for the summer holidays. The grandson is dissatisfied, thinks that he will be bored here. But not this time. It turns out that the old man has a chicken nest on the roof of the booth, in which eggs lie every morning. It's unclear where it came from, and where the chicken itself is. After a while, a stranger falls on their head and just as mysteriously disappears. A series of amazing meetings and events will make this summer unforgettable.

You wake up in the village and there's not a soul around. And you have a video camera in your hand... and what if tomorrow may not come? What will you do?.. In this way, events begin to develop in the Yakut village near the river in the Amginsky ulus of Yakutia.

This is a film about love for oneself, for a spouse and for the motherland, about the difficulties of gender dominance in modern society, about the search for oneself and a better life, and the realization that the environment determines a person, but a person has the right to choose this environment.
