Unknown Language is an investigation into our unconscious and all the social vulnerability it brings. The documentary features 15 interviewees, including musicians Marcelo Yuka and Otto, actor and comedian Gregório Duvivier, artist Eduardo Marinho, writer and cartoonist Lourenço Mutarelli, psychologist and hypnologist Gilda Moura, and psychoanalyst Pedro de Santi.

"I am extremely ambicious. I am ambicious in a way that no one else can see. Because money, confort, stability, luxury, is not enough for me, I want more. I want all I can take from this life". This Brazilian documentary chronicles the life of truck driver / artist Eduardo Marinho, following his daily routine, his lifestyle and his thoughts on life.

In Rio de Janeiro, in the city’s north side, a group of friends turn to making comedy and self-mutilation videos as a necessary escape from the harsh reality of their everyday lives and uncertain futures. From 2006 to 2021, fifteen years of images narrate the (mis)directions of a profoundly unfair city/country as much as the formation of a filmmaker’s gaze.
