A scientist dies in mysterious circumstances while performing an investigation into a tannery in Corrientes. Her husband and his best friend (who was a lover of women) travel to the place to discover what had happened, and end up getting into an issue that threatens their lives.

When his long-lost brother resurfaces, Jacobo, desperate to prove his life has added up to something, looks to scrounge up a wife. He turns to Marta, an employee at his sock factory, with whom he has a prickly relationship.

Anina Yatay Salas is a ten-year-old whose name spells trouble: those three palindromes in a row are an ongoing source of teasing at school. When a playground fight results in mysterious punishment, Anina will learn to put her problems in perspective and empathize with others in this sweet little daydream of a tale.

Luciano lives with his mother and younger sister in a low-income neighborhood in the Argentine city of Rosario. He studies and helps with the housework. Since money is always short, he takes any temporary work he can get to support his family, while he looks for a steady job. After years of spending long hours at the gym, he has managed to see himself in the body he longed for. Life, however, imposes new challenges on him in his relentless journey to pursue his identity.

In the north of the pampas, the remains of a population lie hidden under the soil; they’ve been this way for more than a century. With no direction and no nation, the sailor undertakes the challenge of surviving in a strange country. Twenty years later, without having returned to his homeland and the family he left behind, he continues to fight to survive in exile.

In Buenos Aires, during the 90s, the Pequeña Orquesta Reincidentes (Reincidents Small Orchestra) emerged. Through an 18-year career and 7 released albums, the group built a particular style of rock, appropriating distant sounds to achieve an absolute River Plate identification. ¿Qué sois ahora? try to leave testimony of that journey; of its political and cultural coordinates, of the relationships and the work traversed by the passage of time.

It tells four personal stories united by a common theme: the trafficking and appropriation of babies in Argentina. A multifaceted issue that always results in the trauma of the suppression of biological identity and origin.
