Biography
Atzin Ortiz González (Mexico City, 1986) is a Mexican filmmaker based in Mexico City. He is a graduate in Film Direction at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His short film "#hasthag" had its world premiere at the 25th Raindance Film Festival. He co-wrote the film "Ceremonia", by Dan Chávez, which had its world premiere at the 40th Guadalajara International Film Festival. "Entre Tierras", his first long feature film, premiered at the 18th DocsMX. He is currently developing his second documentary film "Persona Escénica".

A long time ago, Ana Laura, Gustavo, and Jesús crossed the border in search of a better opportunity. They worked hard, built a family, and made a life in the United States. Day by day, years after their arbitrary deportations to Mexico, they deal with the grief of being separated from their families. As time goes by, the shattered existence of everyone is slowly and inevitably rebuilt, far away and apart from each other.

Maria Valenzuela is lead conductor of the Guadalajara Philharmonic. She aspires to be recognized internationally. Challenged by the presence of a young and new conductor who just arrived.
Ceremony

On any given day, Sinuhé spends time checking out guys and posting photos of himself on social media. The fact that Mati, his online Argentine infatuation, is visiting Mexico sends him into flights of fancy. Slowly the virtual fantasy that he creates begins to clash with his reality.
