Biography
Wei Shujun (Chinese: 魏书钧; born 2 February 1991; Beijing) is a Chinese filmmaker. He graduated from Communication University of China. He is the youngest Chinese director to be shortlisted for the Busan Film Festival. In May 2018, "On the Border" directed by him won the Special Mention Award in the Short Film Competition at the 71st Cannes Film Festival. In June 2020, his directed work "Striding Into the Wind" was shortlisted for the 73rd Cannes Film Festival.
