Rojali, whose real name is Rajauli, is the son of a widow who owns a traditional food stall. He falls in love with Zuleha, the daughter of his rich neighbour. But their parents oppose their relationship.

The singers Elvy Sukaesih, Lies Saodah, and Mansjur are popular Dangdut singers of the time, while Hetty Koes Endang was a rising pop singer. The appearance of the comedy Surya Group was designed as an added attraction, though it becomes more of a distraction.

Ferry, Rifky, Simon, Aryo and Steve are best friends since young. When Steve is about to get married, he returns to his old neighborhood and invites his four buddies. Then Simon sets up a surprise bachelor party for Steve in an old house, with Sapphira, a sexy belly dancer. However, Sapphira is too tired to dance a long time so Simon initiates a game, the "Arch of Satan", where a spirit can be summoned. When the atmosphere is getting spooky, Pak Burhan, arrives to break up the party. When Steve arrives home, he encounters the Ghost of the Old Woman they had summoned earlier. Plot under wraps

Our protagonist becomes a transvestite named Betty, just to increase his chances at finding work. She is accepted as a housemaid because the house owner likes seeing her flirtatious and sexy behaviour, though his wife disapproves. On his birthday party, the husband quarrels with his wife because Betty dances with him flirtatiously. To make extra money, Betty often works the street with other transvestites. One unfortunate day, she is caught in a police raid. In front of the police, Betty admits to her mistakes. Even more unfortunate, her employer’s business also goes bankrupt.

An oplet (a small taxi) driver, Tarno, never feels that he earns enough in his village. So he decides to try his luck in the city and leaves his wife and child at home. His luck doesn’t change much until he starts working as a personal driver. But he then realises that he is working for the boss of a drug syndicate. As he refuses his boss’s order to sleep with Mira, he is locked up. Luckily his friend, who brought him into the syndicate, helps him to escape. Meanwhile, Rose takes her child to look for him to Jakarta. She wanders aimlessly and leaves her child in an orphanage. Fortunately, she is found by a group of street musicians who stumble upon her when she is about to be raped. Rose joins the group because she has a singing ability. Then the leader of The Brims Band discovers her and she becomes an even more popular singer.
