The story follows a spoiled, wealthy city girl who is counting down the days to a glamorous, supersonic 16th birthday party where she expects a car as a gift. Her world is turned completely upside down when she is unexpectedly tricked and sent to live in a village for her summer holidays. Forced onto a journey of humility, she must use her sassiness to bring redemption to the village and discover her true self.
Three market women continue their fight against domestic violence following the death of one of them at the hands of her husband. This leads to another strike by the women against their husbands forcing their hands to stand up for what is right.
A group of market women deny their husbands intimacy in a bid to stir them into making a decision.
