In 1978, a young unknown singer with a flute-like voice captivated the world with Wuthering Heights, a song inspired by Emily Brontë's novel of the same name. Discovered by David Gilmour, guitarist with Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, aged 19, succeeded in imposing her choices on her record company: for the first time, a song composed by a woman reached the top of the UK charts.

Orla Barry is a hard-working, lipstick-wearing sheep farmer in rural Wexford. She is also a visual artist, renowned for her video and sound art. She strides confidently from art seminars to the Tullamore Show, lambing in April and shearing in June, working tirelessly to make a living from eco-farming in the face of global demand for faster, cheaper meats and wools. But while tied to the demands of the ovine calendar she must make time to let her creativity flow.

One continuous give-and-take as six performers push towards a paradigm shift in the future. Following a 1970 score written by Pauline Oliveros in response to SCUM Manifesto by Valerie Solanas, they ask ‘Can sounds, rhythms and light produce queer relations? Can they become revolutionary?'
