Mohana Punnagai is a 1981 Indian Tamil film, directed by C. V. Sridhar and produced by R. P. Sarathy. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as lead actor with Geetha (Sri Lanka actress), Jayabharathi, Padmapriya, Anuradha and Anandhi as lead actresses. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan.

A murder-mystery, in which the friend of a wealthy, elderly couple tries to bring about a reconciliation between them on the one hand, and their their estranged relatives on the other.

The business partner and some employees of the elderly Mr. Somasundaram plot to eliminate him by hiding a bomb inside a doll. Learning of the plot, a few others try to avert the calamity. The story consists of the series of events by which the doll keeps changing hands, while being chased by those involved in the plot, and also by those trying to prevent it from exploding.
