For the Broto family, managing their beloved Yogyakarta inn is no easy feat — especially when their youngest son falls in love with a married guest.

The residents of a dormitory led by Bu Siti each have their own personal issues. Tari, a dance student, falls in love with a man old enough to be her father. Rahimah, a medical student, is about to be forced into marriage in her village but is rescued by Nasrul. Maria, a flight attendant, gets entangled in a love quadrangle. She is loved by Imansyah, a co-pilot, but Maria is more attracted to Broto, a wealthy merchant. However, Broto himself is more interested in Sita, a dance instructor. Additionally, two teenagers, Ani and Ina, are placed under Bu Siti's care because their parents are preoccupied with politics. All these problems are resolved in a comedic manner.

Non has been depressed for some time, as she is not accepted by the family of her husband, Hans Tobing, though they already have three children. Just when Non is finally being accepted in her husband’s family, her happiness is threatened by ovarian cancer. It traumatises the family. Hans has to sacrifice everything that he can to save his wife’s life. Fortunately, Non gets her spirit back when she realises that her children still need her. As a result, Prapti does not return to her parent’s house when she is released from jail. One day, her son, Agus, who was born in prison, asks about his father after hearing negative remarks from their landlady, Mak Sanip. Mak Sanip does not like the fact that her son, Sanip, likes Prapti. Since Agus does not get an answer, he starts looking with the help of his friend’s grandfather.

Basically, a courtroom drama, the marriage of Wisnu and Shinta starts having problems when Shinta becomes disabled. Dian, the caregiver they hire, turns out to be an ex-lover of Wisnu and she wants him back, enough to want to kill Shinta. Instead, Dian is the one killed and the scissor that Dian was planning to use ends up in Shinta’s hands. Through the court proceeding, Shinta’s innocence is proven.

He tortured Lestari by getting drunk and accusing Lestari of having an affair when she was pregnant.

Arman’s father denies his request for a toy gun, but his mother allows it. With that toy gun, Arman forms a squad called “Berani Mati” or “Ready to Die” with his friends, Hamdan and others. The security in the neighborhood is threatened by the mischief of Bang Hamid, and Arman and his squad, successfully prevent a burglary by him. The residents are proud to have such brave boys in the neighborhood.
