The year is 2037. Europe is in a state of complete breakdown. The owner of the last well of natural pure water becomes substitute father and husband. But when his well runs dry, he is forced to do the one last "trade".

When they were both children, David and his younger brother Luka both ended up in a terrible accident that caused the latter to go blind and left both parties with incurable feelings of resentment and grief that they decide to try and cure with a hiking trip. However, during the trip, Luka accidentaly injures himself and both brothers will home to overcome their grievances in order to come out of the peril alive.

When Maja's parents come to Zagreb to visit their daughter, Nika and Maja cover their faces with masks and start playing the game Nika has grown very tired of.
