Two Athenian attorneys pursue litigation for the return of the Parthenon Marbles. As the bronze statue of Athena Promakhos used to stand guard in front of the Parthenon, both must find the courage to stand in defense of what they love.

Popi falls in love with a much younger, sexy immigrant from Georgia and decides to marry him. The soi and the neighborhood, who consider the immigrant to be a bounty hunter, do everything to prevent the marriage, but also to pocket the small purse with the golden pounds that Popi's grandfather once hid somewhere.
