Biography
Director, screenwriter. Born in Kniazhpogost (Komi ASSR) in 1984. Graduated in stage and screen acting from Novosibirsk State Theatre School (1994), then from the faculty of directing fiction film of the Film Institute VGIK (2014, class of V. Khotinenko, V. Fenchenko). For his short films he has received prizes at international and national festivals: New Wave (Bulgaria), Bastau (Kazakhstan), International Festival of VGIK, Moscow Premiere, Konik, PRO-Vzgliad, etc. With the film “Tonya is Crying on the Lovers’ Bridge” he participated in the Kinotavr. Shorts competition in 2014.
