Bernie's a bumbling hit man married to a buxom beauty. When he arrives at a resort in beautiful Miami Beach, he is incensed to find his wife in bed with a local lifeguard. It's not long before hilarious adventures ensue when the world's worst assassin wreaks all kinds of havoc in an attempt to protect his honor. The topless beach resort will never be the same as Bernie seeks redemption among the cabana boys and the bikini clad residents at one of the Sunshine State's tropical hot spots.

The film appears like a ritual with splendids and crypteds psalms. The Great Master of Order (Marcel Mazé, new fetish actor after Aloual) seduces the young male prey with a running cinema projector which carves Murnau's Nosferatu extracts on their bodies. Metamorphosis, rituals passages, Eros and Thanotos, illusion and reality, film into the film are the themes and images in perpetual osmosis in this Stéphane Marti's opus.

Memosium is composed like a concerto in three movements. Camera, body and space have their own tempo but all are played simultaneously. From its shots and characters, the story seems amnesic. Events reiterate themselves infinitely. We are in a time of repetition. Thus, all seems to start again, stressed by the circular arrangement of space. Prisoner of its own memory. Moreover, the acceleration and geometrical multiplication of movement, the complexity of the character’s activities, their mathematical cutting and the infinite re-arrangement of the body give the spectator a new awareness of time, without set limits. Only flight (death?) can allow escape from this trap of time.

Andy is a dancer at the Lido. Every day, he realizes his dream like Pierre Rambert, creator of the Bonheur revue, which perpetuates the soul of this great Parisian cabaret.
