Chris Bremner is an American screenwriter and producer based in Los Angeles, originally from St. Louis, Missouri. A history graduate of Brown University, Bremner began his career in New York before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue screenwriting in television and film. Beyond his writing, he is passionate about wilderness and environmental education—he has led outdoor expeditions across three continents and served on the board of directors for the Geography of Hope nonprofit, reflecting his deep love for the outdoors. Bremner earned significant acclaim through his contributions to the "Bad Boys" franchise, having written the screenplay for Bad Boys for Life (2020) and serving as writer and executive producer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024). He also co-wrote the action-comedy The Man from Toronto (2022), which debuted as the number one film globally on Netflix. Additionally, his writing credits include The Pink Panther reboot, National Treasure 3, and The Wedding Ringer, demonstrating his versatility across various genres, including action, comedy, drama, and history. In his professional trajectory, Bremner frequently works as a script doctor on projects in development or production, and he maintains a producing deal with Sony Pictures under his production company, Unknown Quantity.
