Jade is a waitress who leaves the greasy-diner business for the excitement of the carnival. She quickly discovers that she despises freaks and human oddities.

Billy Wade is an ex-gunslinger who is approached by his outlaw brother Matt, not long out of prison, to help him with a big-time robbery. Matt forces Billy's participation with an offer he cannot refuse, unaware that Billy is actually working on the side of the law.

Then the story narrows down to one solitary individual, Jesus Christ, the Carpenter of Nazareth, and the effect of this Man upon the world. The film closes on a highly personal note as Mr. Graham invites viewers to receive Christ as Savior and Lord.

An American brother and sister move to Australia to manage a cattle station, but the brother's racist attitude causes problems. After hearing a message by evangelist Billy Graham on the radio though, he has a change of heart and learns to accept the Aboriginal people.
