Set in 1970s Abhinaya Vasudev, an orphaned and happy-go-lucky postman, treats the Krishnagiri village populace as his extended family. When several women missing and Vasudev’s loved one is nearly abducted, he is determined to find answers.

A newly appointed police officer is assigned to a hit and run case, where a pregnant couple lost their child. What seems like a simple open and shut case, turns out to be a complicated web involving several seemingly unconnected people. To solve the case, the officer has to hunt down a serial killer, a trained Naxal, a suspended cop, and a terrorist organization, while facing his own painful past.

The story is set in the 1990s and follows the emotional and action-filled journey of Bachhala Malli, a rural hero. The narrative combines intense drama with romance, focusing on the protagonist’s challenges and personal growth in a rustic backdrop.
