The princess had been proclaiming herself to be the smartest of them all for so long that the people in the castle had to believe it. Only the prince who came to court her was able to openly show her that he was not interested in such an uneducated and conceited princess. It was this brave prince who had fallen in love with the princess, and she did not want to let him insult her.
