Jan is an absolute heartthrob and a diehard Hertha fan. Katrin is attractive, just as successful and an incorrigible romantic. Chance makes the two the ideal couple. At least almost. Berlin Bohème is a German television series, produced in 53 episodes from 1999 to 2005. The series depicts the lives of Bohemian artists in Berlin; the majority of the protagonists were gay or lesbian. The creator and producer of this show is Andreas Weiss, who produced several other gay and lesbian TV-series before.

Cibrâil, a young policeman, is living happily with his girlfriend in Berlin. He is well integrated in society despite his Turkish background. One day his girlfriend's cousin comes to stay and Cibrâil's life is turned upside down.
