The film tells the story of the comical events that happen to Şemsi. Şemsi is an ordinary dentist who goes to work every day and is faithful to his wife. His friend İlhan, on the other hand, is a lazy man who spends every night with a different woman. One night, unable to resist İlhan's insistence any longer, Şemsi goes to a nightclub to have a few drinks. There, he meets Şükran. Losing control, Şemsi finds himself asleep in his room the next morning. What's more, Şükran is there with him. While trying to get Şükran out of the house without his wife Nurten seeing her, his uncle Selami arrives from America. A week later, Uncle Selami, who is eagerly awaited, will leave his entire inheritance to Şemsi and his wife if he likes them. When Uncle Selami sees Şükran with Şemsi, he mistakes her for his daughter-in-law. When his real wife arrives, the situation becomes even more complicated, and the more they try to resolve it, the more entangled it becomes.

The Bülbül family consists of Hazım Bey and his wife Asiye Hanım, their daughter Nevin, their son-in-law Ramazan, and their son Tosun. Hazım Bey retired after thirty years of civil service. Ramazan is caught between enduring his mother-in-law's sharp remarks, trying to fulfill his father-in-law's various requests while he stays home all day, and dealing with his brother-in-law Tosun. Tosun, who cannot hold down a job, falls in love with every woman he sees, and when he receives a negative response, he attempts suicide. He will once again cause trouble for his family.

The film focuses on the lives of Zeynep and Necla, who begin living in the same house. Zeynep is a woman who works at a bank and lives alone. She has not seen her husband and daughter, whom she separated from years ago, since that day. One day, Necla, a university student, moves into Zeynep's house as a tenant. Necla, a beautiful young woman, quickly catches the attention of the men in the neighborhood. A competition begins among the young men in the neighborhood to win Necla’s affection. Eventually, a connection forms between Zeynep and İlhan, a young law student. However, this connection will also reveal the truths about Zeynep’s life.

Ferit wins a large prize in the lottery and buys a car, then goes on vacation with his friends. He is very impressed by Semra, whom he meets at the hotel. However, Semra is married to Abdüllatif, an elderly and wealthy merchant from Adana. Ferit's luck and money attract the attention of the couple. Because things are not as they seem. The young woman, who learns where Ferit keeps his money, tries to rob him one night. When caught, she confesses everything. The old man is not her husband but her uncle, with whom she has been committing thefts for years. Her real name is Zehra, and she is a member of a very famous family of robbers. However, when Zehra falls in love with Ferit over time, things change.
