This short documentary takes a look at the changing face of PEI's agricultural industry. Once famous for its spuds and red mud, this tiny island province now has higher than average cancer and respiratory illness rates. Is there a link to industrialized farming? Rather than dwelling on PEI's worrisome mono-cropping practices, Island Green dares to ask: What if PEI went entirely organic? The stirring words of PEI-born poet Tanya Davis are coupled with beautiful imagery and poignant stories from the island's small but growing community of organic farmers, reminding us that we can rob the land only so much before it robs us of the nourishment we need for life. Island Green is ultimately a story of hope and a healthy promise.

Uncle Bob is getting up in years, but manages quite well, thank you. Then an unexpected illness changes everything. Suddenly he's scooped out of his safe and familiar surroundings and deposited inside the foreign and chaotic world of the hospital. Here the once self-reliant Uncle Bob becomes vulnerable and dependent.

This short animation celebrates menopause through the story of Mabel. She’s juggling work, teenagers and an elderly mom. Now she’s got hot flashes and chin hairs! Before you can say "estrogen," purple-haired Mabel finds herself the heroine of her own adventure. Colourful computer animation and a rich musical score offer a reassuring look at one of the most important passages in a woman's life.

A delightful environmental tale for young children. Two children create an entire world in their sandbox. Their imagination soars, until rampant growth and pollution overcome their playful antics. Fortunately, their lost teddy bear comes to the rescue.

If there were a biblical parable of "the latte", this would be it. This animation, using cut-outs, creates a colourful and mythic world story of men with ties, from space, creating a land of coffee shops, golfcourses and condo's. All is wonderful in the consuming population until pestilence strikes all. It is the oracles and oracle sub-committees that are consulted until the prophet tells the people to cast off their ties. And they do, along with their golf clubs, coffee cups, etc. - and once again all is in harmony...

It's a cold day in Charlottetown and an old lady is feeling the blahs. Even the cat looks bored. As she figures out what day of the week it is, she realizes it's bath day. So, off she goes down the hall of the boarding house to the communal bathroom. Once in the tub, she is transported into the mythical dreamland of reverie and the exotic. At the end she is interrupted, someone is clamouring to get in. It matters not, the old gal has been rejuvenated and with that extra spring in her dance back to her room, she proves that a bath is all you need to refresh your psyche.
