Biography
In 1995, Patricia Wagner began her career as a film editor in Switzerland, working for the Swiss national broadcaster. She went on to edit more than 150 TV documentaries and a range of feature-length cinema documentaries for various production companies. In 2002, she moved to Ireland and began working as a freelance film director, editor, and camerawoman. In 2017, Patricia's passion for traveling the world and telling stories about people from all walks of life inspired her to establish Wagner Films, allowing her to introduce more flexibility into her work. Wagner Films is an independent production company based in Switzerland and Ireland which specialises in making creative documentaries for national and international audiences.

While the overt violence and conflict associated with the Troubles may have subsided since the Good Friday Agreement, it is true that many people in Northern Ireland continue to be affected by the legacy of the conflict. This includes individuals who were directly impacted by the violence, as well as those who continue to struggle with the social, economic, and political consequences of the conflict. While the actual violence and conflict may have ended, the legacy of the Troubles still lingers on in Northern Ireland; many are still struggling to come to terms with what happened and find a way to move forward.

In November 19, 1946, a U.S. military transport plane goes out of control while flying over the Swiss Alps and crashes high in the mountains. Miraculously, all 12 passengers and crew survive the accident, but their safety is anything but assured. The aircraft has flown miles off course, and its position is unknown. Food supplies are low, the temperature is dropping, and their radio battery is running out of juice. Time is quickly running out. The fate of the survivors will depend on one man, one plane, and one inspired idea.
Stranded: Alpine Air Crash
A Dakota carrying US generals, their wives, and a girl takes off from Vienna bound for Pisa. A storm drives the DC3 over the Swiss Alps. Miraculously, the pilot manages to fly around the mountain peaks without any sense of direction until the plane crashes on the Gauli Glacier, triggering the most spectacular Alpine rescue to date. American military personnel disable their own and attempt to conquer the glacier with tanks. But the Swiss are not deterred by the US. A small mountain rescue team climbs to the accident site under the most difficult conditions. For the first time, a rescue plane lands on skids on the eternal ice, and Switzerland is celebrated by the world press.
