One day, Tamako is informed that the maid cafe in Akihabara where she works is closing down. On her way home, Tamako is wandering around the city, feeling lost and lost, when she enters a ramen shop run by two brothers.
Sakura, a nurse, has a boyfriend and is at the peak of happiness. However, Sakura has something to worry about. The film is in a surreal style. The story involves a young high school teacher who has retired for marriage and seduces one of her former students. She prolongs the relationship by seeing the student whenever her husband leaves for work. Eventually she hides the student in a bedroom closet for more convenient access.

Years have passed since the first film. Goro never got over the death of his partner and continues to drown his misery in alcohol. His latest work as a private detective involves spying on a man suspected of adultery by his wife. She happens to be right, but he's cheating on her with a male university student and not another woman. When that student turns up dead shortly after Goro delivers his results, he is initially indifferent. But then he's absudcted and beaten to within an inch of his life by people who clearly want to ensure his silence, and that changes things. Turns out, his past once again comes back to haunt him.
