On March 17, 2004, an explosive device was activated at the Piloto Public Library in Medellín, where much of the photographic archive of Colombian history is kept. A photograph is the only evidence of this barbarism.

Through an extraordinary 17-minute sequence shot, we accompany a young and dysfunctional couple who are about to have their first child. On the way to the hospital, labor pains mix with mutual complaints, and calls from relatives add reckless comments to a more than desperate situation.

A woman invents a story to evoke a lost friendship. Along with her friends, they imagine a fable: the story of two birds that one day became human — an Ornithologist and his friend, The Architect.
