In 1890s Malacca, Li Lan finds herself in the afterlife and becomes mired in a mystery linked to the sinister, deceased son of a wealthy family.

Mandatori centers around Norman (Aeril Zafrel), a preternatural police detective with the ability to use his ‘imagination’ to visualize and subsequently solve a crime scene. Things take an odd turn, however when he discovers later on that he is unable to his ‘powers’ anymore. Time is not on his side, as the city of Banda Raya falls into a deeper abyss as more mysterious occurrences come to unfold.

Narrating the situation at a car repair workshop by displaying various current issues. Spanar Jaya tells the story of Pak Selamat, a small businessman who aspires to find success in the business world. Iskandar, on the other hand, is a young man who graduated from an overseas university in the field of engineering and is interested in motoring and chooses to work in a workshop. The series also featured the character of a young man who migrated from outside Kuala Lumpur to find a job and work at a workshop in Spanar Jaya.

As both face personal upheavals, the family must confront pride, pain and lost time to rediscover the bond they thought they had lost forever.
