Lucija and Kruno are completely different in character and mentality: she is a carefree and cheerful Dalmatian, at the same time frivolous and superficial, he is more serious, more calm, but at the same time he's a panic who sees disaster in everything. When their distinctive relatives join in in the mix, it takes a lot of love and patience to overcome all the differences.

Back in the Netherlands, the photographer is confronted with his own constant loneliness. The photo of the girl evokes memories of his own childhood, when he still felt at home somewhere.

Friday's core trauma had been during his experience of cinema, not of prison. The line between reality and fiction may be blurry; their perennial violence is one.
