One summer, Dídac travels by bike along the Danube with his family, starting where the river first emerges in Germany. As they journey downstream, he begins seeing a mysterious boy, Alexander, who appears and disappears in the water. Dídac feels himself changing, drawn toward Alexander and away from his brother Biel. Their mother, Monika, who once took the same trip as a teenager, drifts into memories of a past summer love. When she sees Dídac and Alexander together, she encourages them to continue the journey alone. But as twilight falls, Dídac begins to question who Alexander truly is.

Monica, a renowned choreographer, returns to Spain after a 20 year absence to see her sick father. Upon arriving her father has already died and her mother asks her to stay to sell the family home. In delaying her return to Buenos Aires Monica rediscovers her childhood landscapes and is forced to confront the past.

Soumaya grew up in Barcelona, and the emotional distance between her and her mother, who is originally from Algeria, often feels vast. That tension is evident in their somewhat prickly conversation about praying and Ramadan. Things shift, however, when Soumaya decides to visit her grandmother in Algeria.

Three ageing brothers must face an uncertain future and the inevitable end to years of self-imposed isolation as the abandoned village of Escó in Spain, where they have lived all their lives, faces its second threat of extinction.

"In 2018 my grandfather was imprisoned for child sexual abuse and attempted kidnapping. Now I meet him again and confront his gazes, his answers and my own feelings. A couple of choreographers tour between the frontiers of Argentina, Chile and Bolivia After 24 years sharing their professional and personal lives, the trip opens a crack in their routine and their lives begin to unravel.

Canòdrom de Meridiana: an emblematic rationalist building in Barcelona. For many years it was a meeting place for neighbors and citizens. In 2006, it closed its doors. Since then it has been empty.
