Ayşe is the daughter of a father who sided with the sultan against the National Struggle. She is about to marry a captain against her will. Osman, on the other hand, is one of the soldiers fighting for the liberation of the country. One day, he and his men raid Ayşe's house and take some money. After this incident, Ayşe's father, overcome with fear, wants to return to Istanbul. Ayşe, however, insists that they must join the National Struggle.
