Seven friends living in the same neighborhood with different aims form a gang to rob gas stations in pursuit of their shared desire for money. The film serves as a critique of the socio-economic situation of Türkiye and the approach to the "American Dream" in the period of time before May 27th.

Remzi is a kind-hearted but quarrelsome man who cannot tolerate injustice. Ayten is Recep's only daughter. Recep is a quarrelsome, tough man like Remzi. One day, Recep and Remzi come face to face and get into a fight. Through this incident, Remzi meets Ayten and falls in love with her. Ayten decides to enter a beauty pageant out of defiance toward her friend. Remzi soon discovers that the organizers of the pageant are fraudsters. However, convincing Ayten to change her mind will not be easy.

Captain Bey's only dream is to have a grandson. His daughter Bedriye knows this and therefore she keeps her daughter Kamuran away from her father for years, raising her in Europe.

However, one day, things took a turn for the worse. Fikret's business failed. Yusuf, whom he had once saved from bankruptcy, refused to help him. He was acting out of resentment that Leyla had chosen Fikret over him. Fikret is an honorable man. He has been appointed guardian of the young son of his closest friend, who died in a traffic accident. The management of a large fortune has fallen to him. However, he prefers to work as a servant in Istanbul rather than touch the money. The couple builds a new life for themselves in Istanbul. But Yusuf's resentment shows no signs of abating.
