The boys of Wikman is a 1994-year drama serial about the Wikman Private Gymnasium students from 1937 till their mobilization in 1944. The series is based on a 1988 novel Wikmani poisid by Jaan Kross.

In an atmosphere ripe with nationalism, two young engineers are commissioned by the Estonian Ministry of Defense to erect the country’s most important monument – a statue commemorating the War of Independence. With strong political and social pressure, the main characters of the film find themselves in many tragicomic situations and a constant row of ordeals. All of this paints a colourful and unique picture of the creation of a symbol during a time of financial crisis in Estonia.

A film-report and a unique document of the current state of mind in Estonia. After the country gained independence in 1991, most of the monuments established by the Soviet government were eliminated. In the center of the city, however, the Bronze Soldier, popularly called Alyosha, continued to stand. But in 2007, different views on history led to the “bronze night”, tragic clashes and the dismantling of the monument.

The film portrays five different Estonian female politicians: Minister of Culture Signe Kivi, businesswoman Terje Aru, former Miss Estonia Kristiina Heinmets, strike movement leader Kadi Pärnits, and the grand old lady of Estonian women's politics, Marju Lauristin. All of them have been in the media spotlight, and many have fallen victim to it due to their openness. How can a woman assert herself in a post-communist society? What opportunities do women have to succeed in politics within a traditionally patriarchal system? Through the actions of these five protagonists, the hidden world of Estonian politics unfolds—both in its glamour and its horror.

While there are fewer and fewer World War II veterans among the living, the battles of this war keep reoccurring on different battlegrounds on the Eastern territories of contemporary Europe. Two young Estonian men, Andrey and Reimo, have been killed several times in these fights. Each time they resurrect, because those are the rules of the game they play along with their comrades in the Frontlinemilitary club. Enthusiasts of different nationalities join such clubs because of their appreciation for the memory of World War II as well as their love of reconstructing the 'soldiers' lifestyle of the era-in detail. SS-Untersturmführer Reimo leads the 20th division of the Waffen SS, Sergeant Andrey marches in advance of the Red Army's 11th Rifle Division. The fight for history goes on, with arms in young men's hands.

25-year old Mati has never experienced love. All of his friends are in a relationship or even married, yet Mati has not even kissed a girl. Every attempt to get in a relationship has failed. Mati refuses to give up and tries to find the right girl.

How to live carefree and without money.

The Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic declared itself an independent state in 1990, but has not been recognized by any country in the world since then. More than 20 years have passed, the economic situation in the quasi-state is difficult, social discontent is growing due to the arbitrariness of the authorities, political activity is increasing, especially on the eve of the elections, in which the incumbent president, Igor Smirnov, who has ruled the country for 20 years, again puts forward his candidacy. His opponents defend various interests, but absolutely all of them are turned towards Russia and vying with each other express their boundless devotion to their potential homeland, which is in no hurry to reciprocate tenderness.

Wild animals are in trouble. In areas that have always been covered with forests, there are now new housing estates, highways and polygons. Because of human activity, more and more animals get into accidents. But the injured animals still have hope because volunteer foster mothers take care for them.
