Mark Evans puts his own workshop projects on hold and sets off on a mission to help inspire and motivate other classic vehicle enthusiasts to achieve their restoration dreams. Restoring a rust heap is a much bigger challenge than most people anticipate. That's one of the reasons so few amateur restorers succeed and why so many potentially brilliant projects remain on axle stands and under tarpaulins to rust in peace. It doesn't have to be that way. Filmed over 12 months mainly in the UK, but also in Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Holland and France, Wreck Rescue features the highs and lows of five very different workshop projects including a very early Frog Eye Sprite, a 1959 Elva 100 single-seater race car and a post-war, 4x4 RAF truck.

Inside Nature's Giants is a British science documentary, first broadcast in June 2009 by Channel 4. The documentary shows experts performing dissection on some of nature's largest animals, including whales and elephants. The programme is presented by Mark Evans. The series attempts to uncover the secrets of the animals examined. Mark is assisted by evolutionary biologists Richard Dawkins and Simon Watt, and comparative anatomist Joy Reidenberg. The show is currently airing on PBS in the United States and repeats are currently airing on Eden and Watch in the UK. There is an iPad application that allows you to see every animal the show have worked on close up.

A Plane is Born, presented by Mark Evans, is a 15 part series for Discovery Home and Leisure, in which he not only learns to fly but also builds his own two-seater aeroplane. He's built a supercar from scratch, put together a 200 mph plane and painstakingly restored various rusty wrecks back to their former glory and all in front of television cameras. He's even built his own helicopter. But, in this, his latest quest, Mark takes on a more down-to-earth challenge shared by millions of motorists every year: How to get the best price possible for your car when the time comes to sell. Mark asks a stranger to lend him her 5-Series BMW Estate. It's 12 years old, done 130,000 miles and, although much loved, is in a sad and sorry state. Once bright red all over, the paintwork is now various shades of pink and the car is filthy dirty, inside and out. It's been valued at just £375. What happens next is nothing short of miraculous. Coached by an experienced valeting professional, but using only DIY car cleaning products, Mark and his old friend Pete "Mate" wash, wipe, preen and polish the Beamer beyond recognition.
