The canine contestants and their owners are as wondrously diverse as the great country that has bred them.

The spooky-ooky-kooky family lives happily together in their macabre gothic mansion much to the chagrin and confusion of outsiders and neighbors.

Delilah Miller is looking for an anchor in her life. She starts a romance with rock musician Ryland Yale, but soon it shows he can not be such an anchor - he's possessive, undependable and even a heroin addict.

Gabrielle plays Sarah Forrester, who works a dead-end job for the east side of a westbound horse, and is engaged to a thoroughly unsuccessful writer. When she lands a job as a stockbroker and starts making big money, she decides to strike out on her own.
