After a fateful encounter in the summer of 1966, the lifepaths of two brothers from a middle-class Roman family diverge, intersecting with some of the most significant events of postwar Italian history in the following decades.

Rocco, a former boxer disappointed by life and his profession, and Ben, an undocumented immigrant in Italy who barely manages to earn enough money for a sandwich and to pay the rent for a cot, tell a story of sport, friendship, and social redemption.

She assumes her new social status and start from scratch, working in the cleaning sector. Until unexpectedly she meet Fran, a person who breaks all schemes.
