Acting Dead is a satirical dark comedy about the world of Hollywood zombies, and not just the ones leaving their Botox appointments in Beverly Hills. What if your acting career took a turn for the worse, and the only way to be cast in the ever-growing number of zombie-based TV show and movies was to...actually become one? Welcome to the afterlife of Tate and Alex, both struggling to get by, living in their new skin, or what's left of it. But life doesn't slow down just because your heart stopped beating. Sometimes you have to go six feet under to get to the top.
Acting Dead
For the past few years the Archer children have come to expect very little from their parents. Growing up with mega-successful parents, William (a famous author) and Elizabeth aka The Queen (Hollywood's publicist to the stars) the siblings both have bitter attitudes and something to hide. Sixteen year old Tori has two sets of friends, therefore two sets of problems, two sets of mistakes, and most importantly, circles of lies. She has a heart of gold, and knows right from wrong, but succumbs to peer pressure and consistently makes poor choices that cause irrepressible situations and problems. Older brother Billy has his own set of issues. Expelled from college during his sophomore year, Billy is struggling to find his sexual identity, while attempting to make amends with his ever absent parents and keep his little sister afloat.

To the Beat follows 14-year-old twins Mia and Mackie Castillo - dancers since they were toddlers. Beginning at just three years old, that's been their one true passion. They support each other through competitions and rehearsals, even though they dance different styles. Mia loves tap and Mackie loves jazz. When their favorite pop star launches an online contest to find the most unique dance group for his next music video, the twins each form their own team to compete for the chance to dance in the video - enlisting their friends and family to help gain online votes. Meanwhile, their arch rival and neighbor, Avery, the best dancer of all (who knows it too) uses her charm and resources to get the upper hand in the competition.
