This story happened a long time ago, when the mead makers kids skillfully knew their business, and their magnificent drink was appreciated and famous far beyond the borders of the land where they lived. One insidious and cruel ruler destroyed almost all of these mead makers. And when summer came and new heather carpeted the fields, the ruler began to yearn for the lovely drink, therefore ordered his subjects to get it...

A mad scientist invented a new weapon of mass destruction and offered it to the god of war. The animation was shot in the genre of political satire. The visual solution of the tape proposed by the artist Henrikh Umanskyi is reminiscent of the films of the German expressionist cinema of the 1920s, in particular the legendary film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" (1920). There, too, the main character was a mad scientist, and the events unfolded in distorted scenery that emphasized the state of insanity.

This cartoon is based on a humorous Ukrainian folk song about how wives decided to sell their disgraced husbands. One wife wants to get rid of the reveler, the other - from the drunkard, the young woman is tired of the old man, the worker is lazy, and the tall - the husband is too small in stature.

It turns out that the main character's grandfather never had a beard and never was old, because he was young when he died in the war, fighting for his native country and the loved ones...
