Biography
Priit Valkna (July 18, 1971 – December 28, 2024) was an Estonian director and cultural organizer. He graduated from Tallinn 21st High School in 1989. In 1993, he graduated from Tallinn Pedagogical University with a degree in performance management and directing and in 2009 as a theater master from EMTA School of Performing Arts. He has a son, Karl Erik. His brother Andres Valkna is a biochemist and molecular biologist, his sister Helen Valkna is a TV director and producer.
Known For

The Class: Life After is a follow-up to the feature film The Class (Klass) and deals with the aftermath of a school shooting. Each one-hour episode focuses on a different character who survived or witnessed the tragic event. There are kids from the class, their parents, the class teacher, a boy who survived the shooting, and finally, one of the culprits in the very last episode.

The artist Lauri Sillak, aka Laurentsius, starts painting for his new exhibition in an unusual place – a vacant wooden house in the heart of Tallinn, in a house that has belonged to the creator of the art of film and photography in Estonia, Johannes Parikas and his wife Lilli.
