The film is about an arrogant and bold spinster, in her late thirties, whose life turns into a meaningful one with the arrival of an ex-army-man in the neighbourhood.
Nandagopal lives with his mother and mute sister Maya at the mercy of his uncle. They come to know their late father bought a bungalow in Kalimuthupalayam, Tamil Nadu. Nandagopal go there to sell the property in order to get over their financial difficulties.
