Directing
Chady and David work on cargo ships on Lake Geneva. They are both foreigners in Switzerland. On the oscillating waters of the lake, the young men, who are haunted by the memories of their home countries, share secrets, memories and the same feeling of being uprooted. A strange intimacy forms between the two men.
To run away from a monotonous everyday life, 63-year-old Daniel found an activity which gives him a way to exist.
Was this father really a teacher, judge, politician and architect? In any case, the character being depicted exists for real on the screen, in the scenes his son wanted to stage. A modest attempt to define a man with some insistence, a condition for the fiction of reality to take shape.
