Daisy, a gun-toting grumpy old battle-axe, eeking out her life in a tumbledown shack in the middle of nowhere. Into her life stumbles Simon, a mild-mannered accountant. Together, they form an uneasy alliance that is hilarious to watch. Gradually he helps her rediscover her zestful youth in return for stability in his troubled life.

A couple are in their home, late at night. Nothing out of the ordinary. At least, until strange growling starts coming from the attic, and the ceiling starts to crack.

This film takes you into the darker limits of madness but on a ride with offbeat and strangely humorous turns.

Berlin, 1934: John Flaus plays Goethe, the puppeteer whose mechanical clockwork knife-throwing act is under surveillance by a slimy SS agent (Heinz Boeck). The showdown comes at a New York presentation of the show.
