Young partisan resistance fighter commander Franc Sever Franta faces an impossible task when he has to rescue 500 freedom fighters surrounded and outnumbered by a Nazi German division high in the mountains in harsh winter condition.

The series is the story of Zeleni odsev (The Green Reflection), a local TV station in Cerknica, following the arrival of Renato, hired to host a new youth show. It is told through the footage taken by students with hand-held cameras.

In "Stealing the land", parents fight not only for a better future for their children, but also for their own egos. When a schoolyard game sparks a political debate in the kitchen, an evening of absurd conflicts, low blows and unexpected confrontations begins. The film unrestrainedly provokes, entertains and exposes the grotesqueness of a society where the lines between play, education and the real world become dangerously blurred and the rules increasingly confusing - for children and adults alike.

When a junkie breaks into the kiosk and disturbs their daydreaming, the potential for a change ensues.
