Ichiro Onizuka is a skilled detective who is confined to a wheelchair after being injured in an incident that occurred right before his retirement. Armed with a detailed "city of memory" in his mind, he solves modern-day cases alongside Saki Toyama and Keitaro Jin, while recalling the cases of the past.
After her brother is accused of murdering four people, his sister, desperate to prove his innocence, goes to a psychic for help. The price they ask, however, is far more than she expected, and the answers they give her are nothing she could ever have imagined. And what is the FBI doing investgating a murder in Japan?
Kana is a newcomer assigned to office worker Shinobu's department. Kana, who adores Shinobu, gradually begins to act out of character, and Shinobu begins to avoid Kana. Kana eventually disappears, and unexplainable events occur frequently in Shinobu's surroundings.
