Biography
Reecha Sharma is a highly accomplished Nepalese actress, model, and producer who has been a major presence in the entertainment industry since 2007. Born in Dhangadhi, she first gained national attention as a semi-finalist in the Miss Nepal 2007 pageant before transitioning into music videos and professional modeling. She made her film debut in 2010 with First Love, but her career reached a significant turning point with the massive box-office success of Loot in 2012. Known for choosing diverse and challenging roles, she earned the National Film Award for Best Actor (Female) for her performance in the critically acclaimed Talakjung vs Tulke (2014). Throughout her prolific career, she has acted in numerous films, including notable projects like Uma, Visa Girl, and Highway, and has even expanded her reach into production with the horror film Sunkesari. Beyond the silver screen, she has become a household name as a long-standing judge on the popular comedy reality show Comedy Champion.
