Shukla, a newly-married rickshaw driver, struggles to connect with his painfully shy bride Lakshmi. Their woes are compounded by his friends’ bad advice and his family’s inability to understand the concept of personal space.

An elderly farmer and his family return home to their village after trying to make money in the city, only to find it destitute and ruled by exploitative employers and a hungry tiger. Both the greedy employers and the tiger are protected by the government, but only the death at the hands of one will provide compensation.

Gayatri has taken care of her son Kabir as a single mother. But cracks have developed in their relationship as Gayatri always avoids telling Kabir about his father. Kabir's only communication is his aunt Radhika. Gayatri and Radhika send Kabir to a boarding school where he is doing well in all aspects. Dhairya and Dhungya are two mischievous village boys who are sent to boarding school as the villagers want to keep them away. Kabir meets Dhairya and Dhungya and the school starts to witness changes.
