A terrifying story based on a fact occurred in Buenos Aires, early 1967. Reported in "La Nación" and all the other newspapers, after the death of a woman interned at the Instituto de Detención para Mujeres. Doctor Vallejos, the magistrate in charge of the inquest, gets enmeshed in personal intrigue, organized corruption, lust and vice in which apparently all the penitentiary personnel and an organized gang of dangerous inmates are involved, operating within the prison itself.

The plot revolves around Jorge and Marta, who together with their two children form a typical middle-class Buenos Aires family in the 70s. One day, physically and mentally tired, she decides, a little reluctantly of Jorge, to go a few days of rest to Mar del Plata. As expected, the temptations of summer on the beach do not take long to appear, since Marta will try to seduce different types of heartthrobs. At the same time, her husband, who has been left in Buenos Aires alone, since the children of the marriage have gone to spend the summer in the fifth of some relatives, is also tempted to live a few days of single. Both, each with their own values, must decide whether or not to give in to their own temptations, but unexpected news will suddenly change the plans of each of them.

The authorities at an adult education center (called CACHADA) are about to receive an inspection that worries them. On the same plane as the inspector is a student with a similar last name, whom they mistake for the inspector. Meanwhile, the students are rehearsing musical numbers at night, having promised to perform at a club. This is discovered by the teachers and the inspector, who decide to punish their students. Furthermore, the school's benefactor, Amalita Fortaviene (a parody of the millionaire philanthropist Amalia Lacroze de Fortabat), arrives, bringing with her the Loma Blanca soccer team (a parody of Club Loma Negra, represented by their River Plate jerseys) to compete against CACHADA (who wear Boca Juniors jerseys). Winning this match is crucial for resolving all the entanglements presented in the film.
