"Block B - Under Arrest" is the story of Bea Kroeger, who is charged with attempted murder of her husband. During the pre-trial detention in the prison Tempelhof they must fight for their place in the pecking order among the inmates perforce. As a rookie experienced Bea - and with it the audience - the hardships of prison life and learns the hard way that there are other rules apply as in the outside world. Hazal is 17 and lives in Berlin. Her biggest wish: to be given a chance. For her 18th birthday she wants to escape the everyday grind and party with her friends. But an incident changes everything. Hazal is forced to flee.

Kishori, unmarried and mother to a daughter, and her sister Sonal live in a house in Berlin. The house and a cafe on the ground floor are led by Kishori. All of a sudden, her strict and traditional grandmother comes for a visit from India. She wants to sell the house unless Kishori agrees to marry the father of her daughter, Robert. Out of necessity, he ends up working for small business owner Reynaldo and his colleague Jason, cleaning antique public urinals at night. Ezequiel is so ashamed of his new job that he doesn't want to tell his wife Marta or his son Stevie. Ezequiel actually wants his son to have a proper, academic education, which will open all doors for him later on. But then he reveals to his father that he would rather become a hairdresser than study.
