Thriller is a British television series, originally broadcast in the UK from 1973 to 1976. It is an anthology series: each episode has a self-contained story and its own cast. As the title suggests, each story is a thriller of some variety, from tales of the supernatural to down-to-earth whodunits.

Survivors is a British post-apocalyptic fiction television series devised by Terry Nation and produced by Terence Dudley at the BBC from 1975 to 1977. It concerns the plight of a group of people who have survived an accidentally released plague – referred to as "The Death" – that kills nearly the entire human population of the planet.

Fanny by Gaslight is a four-part British television miniseries adapted by Anthony Steven from Michael Sadler's 1940 novel of the same mame, directed by Peter Jefferies, and produced by Joe Waters. It initially broadcast from 24 September to 15 October 1981 on BBC One. Victorian orphan Fanny Hooper navigates hardship and scandal, eventually discovering her true parentage and finding love amidst the city's demi-monde.

The Little Match Girl is a short story by Danish poet and author Hans Christian Andersen. The story is about a dying child's hopes and dreams, and was first published in 1845. This adaptation was made for Harlech TV and broadcast on 28th December 1986 and starred Twiggy and Roger Daltrey, and features the song 'Mistletoe and Wine' which became a Christmas number one for Cliff Richard in 1988, the biggest selling record of that year.

Newlyweds Samantha and Robert Miller emerge from the church to the sound of cheers. However, the happy scene is disturbed by a cruel practical joke, someone throws a paint-bomb at the bride. Later, upon returning from their honeymoon the couple discover the smashed remnants of their wedding cake and a mysterious gift -- one soiled glove. Could it be a warning? Does someone hold a grudge against the couple?

Jenny is an autistic teenager. Her father is concerned about her being withdrawn and hopes that employing her in his own business will bring her out of her shell. He also employs a new young assistant called Brian.

Doctor Bruce Nelson takes over the medical practice of a village general-practitioner. Upon arriving in their new home, the doctor and his wife, Tessa, receive a very warm welcome from all the villagers. Tessa is at first flattered by the villagers' constant fawning and gifts, but soon becomes wary of their strange ways, and begins to suspect there is something evil in the village.

Sir Archie and Cuckoo Peveril have lived in elegant splendour on Cap Ferrat since the end of the war. But the heady days of extravagant socialising have gradually dwindled, and for Cuckoo the villa has become a prison. Then an attractive young couple arrive, resurrecting the tensions and sexual rivalry between Archie and Cuckoo, and forcing all four to learn about themselves.

American businessman Brad Hunter and his wife Suzy are visiting England for the first time. Meeting a business contact, Brad introduces his wife as "Theresa." Suzy hires private detective Matthew Earp to look into the reasons behind her husbands sudden change in personality. This aired on British TV as part of the "Thriller" series (under the title "An Echo of Theresa") but was issued as a featured on home video in the U.S. as "Anatomy of Terror."
