Biography
Freimut Kalden was a German film producer, documentary director, cinematographer, and editor. He started out as an assistant director and editor before founding his own production company, Jura-Film, in the 50s and went on to direct numerous cultural and nature documentaries, including a lengthy travel film about Brazil. His family also participated in his filmmaking, with his wife and daughter working as editors on his projects.
