Two repatriated soldiers search for stability and love when they return home after the First World War.

A comedic story of a young village boy, a gifted musician, on the threshold of adulthood, searching for himself. After an unsuccessful public concert performance, he decides to abandon his studies at the conservatory and take a job as an auxiliary worker.
