Two years after the tragic loss of his older brother, 17-year-old Daan unwillingly goes along when his grieving family decides to give shelter to a homeless teenager called Radja. But as Daan witnesses how this stranger's presence deeply affects his mother, he starts to unravel Radja's mysterious past.

Each short story plays in the same setting with 2 characters, each on their side of the glass of the visitors area from a prison that them (and also the world) divides.

When her mother abandons her dementing father, Alex unexpectedly finds herself at a crossroads. As she moves back in the parental house to look after her father, she starts questioning her own life. Does she want to stay with her adulterous husband? She tolerated his affairs for years, but is she really happy with him? Or should she, like her parents, drop the facade?

A mother cannot accept that her teenage daughter is terminally ill. In her despair, she clings to a story about “healing earth”. Determined to force a breakthrough, she retreats to a forest to dig up the miracle solution that promises the impossible.

Who doesn't dream of a different, better version of themselves? And what if just that version pays you a visit in prison?
