Karim is the middle brother of 7 children. His father is Mohamed Karim Refaat a Tv art producer and his mother is a lawyer. Been in the studios at early age was like magic for him to watch this world and how stories transform from just words to picture. This artistic bringing up influenced him choosing his directing career. He made his first Feature Film Yabani Asli (2017)
